The Mission

Priority 1: Support to NATO operations:

• Providing secure computer network, telephone, and videoconference services to the NATO Response Force, the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (ISAF), the NATO Training Mission in Iraq, and NATO operations in the Balkans.

• Providing NATO’s first line of defence against cyber threats such as detecting and preventing computer viruses and unauthorized intrusion into NATO’s networks.

• Operating, maintaining, controlling and administering the central components of NATO’s networks, providing coverage of mission essential systems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• Providing logistics support for the deployed CIS assigned to NCSA, working closely with the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA) and the NATO C3 Agency.
